T’ai Chi Chih is a moving meditation that consists of 19 movements and one pose. It is not a martial art, but is based on the same principles of moving subtle energy. Practice of T’ai Chih Chih has been shown in clinical studies to improve overall health and sense of well-being.
It is performed with both feet on the ground and can even be modified for a chair. As a matter of fact, doctors are recommending T.C.C. for their patients that need to work on their balance.
The health benefits of T’ai Chi Chih are definitely profound, but beyond these is the sense of peace, joy and imperturbability that is attained with regular practice.
